Backup exec 2015 console hangs when trying to browse ndmp server

I am using backup exec 2015 (version 14.2) to backup an ndmp server. 

I could add the server properly using trusted connection. However when I try to browse for the shares to backup , the backup exec console hangs.

I am using windows 2012 R2 to run backup exec.
